Most teens are pretty freaked about growing up; ignore any fears you have and go with the flow.

Now that i'm coming up into my last year of School i'm kind of a bit anxious about being a "Young Adult" don't know if any else has ever had this feeling it's like once you you leave College that's Education all over basically (unless going to Uni) and once that happens basically your now in the big wide world and you have to start fending for yourself and then you eventually get to the stage to where there will be times where you will have to make big life changing decisions.

Tbh i wouldn't say i'm confident person and sometimes it takes me time to adapt to new things but obviously when i get to the stage where i am a Adult it probably be normal for me to get a little freaked out about stuff as for all of a sudden your life what you used to live is now completely different.
Meh, there's a silver lining for everything Clowngon.

Leaving education was the worst decision I ever made. I thought I really hated school at the time, but i'm now going back to college to do A Levels. I was in a stable job for about a year and a half. After a few months, i had decided this REALLY isn't what i want to do! Try and make a career for yourself, Never leave things to the last minute. Its crazy how fast the world moves around you, Make sure your in another job before you quit the one you hate. I quit mine, I'm now sat at home waiting for September to come to start college, but I have bills to pay, a car to run, insurance to pay, and I have no income, Its hard. You must plan things. Don't just expect everything to fall into place, I did it, and boy was I wrong.

When I finished collage I thought it was great, long summer holiday, never need to go to again but then I stopped getting EMA, my parents floated me the odd bit of money here and there so I realised I needed a job. Seeing as I left it a little late all the summer jobs were taken so I went the summer with no money while all my friends were working and spending their money. I then finally found a job, although it was at Burger King it was still a job. I really hated working until I got my first pay check, 125 pounds and it was all mine, first time I'd had that amount of money and it wasn't my birthday.

After about a year of working there I needed a change in life, I never wanted to sell burgers and I don't want to do it for a lifetime so I handed out about 70 CV's but got very few replies. I went to my local pub with my dad just for a few beers and one of his friends owns a private building company. He kindly offered me a job, 2 days a week for an extra 80 pound a week. 5 pound an hour, outdoor work, more mature people but it was a 7:30am start each day. I done that for about a month then decided not to do it anymore because I was handling 2 jobs, Labouring and Burger King. Although the money was good I never got a day off work in 4 weeks.

Few months after that I got offered a full time job at my local pub. I was so happy to get this offer without any bar experiance before and now I'm earning about 900 pounds a month, meeting alot of new people and friends in a job I really do enjoy.

When I finished collage I never thought I would end up where I am, although the jobs I've had aren't great jobs it's more to put on my CV to show I've had some life expreiance, I've also never been fired from any of my jobs so it'll all be good referances for my futur employers.

Don't worry your not the only one who feels like this.
Im at university now, and I cannot begin to describe how fast my teenage years have gone, it's mega scary. I can honestly say I've had sleepless nights and stuff from getting worried about everything, but you just have to take it as it comes.
The thing is at the end of the day everyone has to 'grow up', yes its intimidating and scary but look at other adults, they've survived!
Just remember to enjoy yourself now. Your an adult a hell of a lot longer than you ever are a child/young adult.
