Robert Rodriguez directed Sin City. The creator of the Sin City graphic novels and universe acted as a consultant, but Robert decided to give him a credit as co-director. As Robert and Quentin are best friends, he asked Quentin to direct one scene of Sin City, which is where Clive Owen is driving and Benicio Del Toro's corpse is talking. Tarantino also never directed The Spirit, that was Frank Miller. This is Quentin's directorial filmography, in chronological order:
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill
Death Proof
Inglourious *******s
He also directed a portion of Four Rooms.
After having the honour of working on Inglourious *******s, I have now seen the film twice. The first at the London premiere, and the second last Saturday. The film's released tomorrow in the UK, and I urge anyone of age to see it. The most innovative writer/director of our time has made a another masterpiece second only, in my eyes, to Pulp Fiction.
