I don't think it'll be gone for good, someone will eventually buy the rights. I think we need a few years without it on our screens though. Big Brother has received so much bad publicity and C4 fail to do any damage control and over the years it took more bashings, along with the show getting boring, the housemates dull and the tasks less creative. Take 3-5 years, spend the time retooling the show (everything about the show, right down to how nominations and evictions work), find 12 actually interesting people and give viewers a damned show to watch. I was a huge BB fan but this year for the first time I gave up on the show after Sree was evicted, it was so unbelievably boring.

Also BB's main problem is the fact Britain is full of crap. During the BB Jade Goody race row the amount of complaints and protests etc. was unbelievable considering the better part of those people don't watch the show in the first place, the press had a field day taking bashes at Jade Goody, turning her into a national hate figure, 3 years later Jade gets cancer and suddenly the press is her best friend, did any of you see any apologises by the press for all the damage they caused to Jade and her career? Going off the point slightly here lol. Anyway i just think BB can live on and it should, but it needs a long break, it needs a lot of work and it needs to give viewers something worth tuning in for.
