    We love the rain! it's our best friend... apart from NZ.

    Whoever thought of this ODI series schedule is stupid, no way can you play cricket in September in this country, it's already starting to dip cold, and August has only just passed, and it's been raining quite a lot lately here. (near Birmingham)

    Was sunny in Manchester Sunday morning. Rain during play.

    Was raining extremely hard, with thunders, for like an hour at 3:45pm. Chances of the field being good enough to play after that was slim.

    na its ridiculous the 2nd T/20 should have been played cause the day after
    lancashire playing sussex up there atm.

    what with dew on the surface also.
    come on be serious if it was fit to play at 11am the day after then im sure it would have been fit for 40 overs considering 90 overs are being played on yesterday.

    From what I hear, it was only a tiny bit which caused them not to play as it was too slippery, hence dangerous.

    And it was extremely sunny Wednesday morning, could have easily dried up ...
