sent an email in saying it was refusing all payments etc. got a reply saying "we see you're playing the game, we assume your problem is resolved."

Called account and billing this morning. Here's one thing to be aware of, unlike the other services which allow verified by Visa (dependant on your bank whether they will accept the payment to Blizzard) faction change has been adapted to not accept verified by Visa at all. This is because roughly only 50% of all verified by Visa charges go through. To quote what I was told by the support rep "We flat out, don't accept verified by Visa for paid faction change".

A Mastercard should work however he mentioned, however it could be due to any type of payment confirmation system you use with your bank that you are unable to use this, as I've heard people are having problems with all types of card. If you are now receiving "Payment method blocked" upon trying to pay, the only way to remove this is to contact account and billing by phone or email.
