Hey all,

I've been keeping my self up to date with this thread and the other thread, I haven't posted a thing in either of them until now. Actually i've quite enjoyed the hype of this but to be quite honest I think all it is, is actually just hype.

I'm not saying this to be rude but I generally do think that, I'm not the best coder on here (far from it), but I think im a fair way up the food chain even though I don't post much but I don't normally have much good to say.

So yes im going too criticize this thread / panel. I'm not telling you to stop supporting him or stop posting but I'm entitled to my opinion (Even if I do get flamed to hell and back).

But here is why I think that it's not going to be a good release. For the past few weeks Lewie has been asking me for help with some things that Well are just common sense to someone who is releasing a DJ panel.

Well lots of silly little things like that, I understand everyone has times where they can't work a way of doing something e.g table structure what method there going to do, but It's atleast once or twice a day I get asked about with a different problem.

From what I've seen sofar none of the code is indented nor OOP, He hasn't cleaned any of his variables.

Thats my opinion of this, everyone is entitled to there own

The first release of anything is not always the best release right?

Anyway tbh, its a project for me and Ill code the way I want; who cares how its coded cos at the end of the day, who sees the source code :S apart from when you have FTP access ect...

Anyway thanks for the suggestions and I should come up with a name shortly

If its opensource, people will have trouble editing it, where as with OOP you can easily just call a function to check people are logged in, instead of having to write out the code every single time. Developing plugins etc will be hard aswell.

Right ok, ive put a few things into a functions.php that will be included in all files that need it.

I think I might start developing plugins for it, but not yet sure. Just need to finish it first

Yeah, I took someones advice of using different languages of an english word and come up with "Eile DJ Panel" which stands for "Another DJ Panel".

I know it sounds rubbish but its a name at end of the day.
