£1,299 for the iMac is pushing it very far, an extra £200 for a netbook (I never buy second hand) is just going to far. I suppose I could get the iMac then start saving up for a cheap netbook?

I really dont get the whole, zomg a Mac, my brother has one and I have went on it many times, nothing amazing
You can get better specs on a PC for half the price, I guess it's for the Apple software but even then you can still run it on a PC. I'd buy a good Desktop for £800 and a good laptop for £400 but thats me

You understand the difference between Windows and Macs after you switch to Mac having used Windows for most of your life . It's just a much better experience; not to mention they're sexy as hell.

No, honestly I was offered one for 6th form and I chose a laptop and a new mobile instead. My brother has a MacBook and I dont see any appeal in it what-so-ever.
