    Yeah that and also some animated gif's, bit of Word Art for the banner along with the font asComic Sans. To attract peoples attention, I recommend some flashing text which scrolls quickly across the top. Usually goes down nicely.

    Now people can say what they like, and I know it isn't great, it was meant to be simple and minimalistic but I know it isn't horrid as some people are saying...

    I agree, it's getting a bit of an understatement for what is quite a nice little site. It may not be perfect, but there's some nice CSS3 properties in there, and the background is quite nice too.

    I think it's really quite a crafty little portfolio, and there's always improvement as you clearly know, so good luck.
