School fights are caused by the most pathetic things ever. Truth is, whatever the fight is caused by is usually just an excuse to have a fight. It's what boys do, all part of growing up too. Don't you like the thought of running towards a massive group of lads with your mates next to you then smashing some randomer in the face? But then again you could be the one who gets smashed in the face first. Some schools within a 10 mile radius to where I live have had massive fights were some people actually brought knives to the fight. So you could end up getting more than just a punch from some psycho. At the end of the day it's up to you. I've only ever been involved in 1 and was lucky enough to go through it all without getting one punch.

Its all good us telling this guy that fights are stupid ect, but telling him this is not going to fix the problem he’s got at hand, Social disapproval or fight. Well first before I say my answer I just want to say that I think that everything has been over dramatized in your post, your field was set alight? May I remind you to set grass on fire would have to have some sort of flammable substance as the base, because it wont be able to survive! Another thing is for a fire to actually make a real impact it would have to be moderately big, so why is there nothing on the news about this? And also how did a bunch of kids get into a field with highly flammable whatnots and light a field on fire, then somehow you arranged to fight them, despite them just causing arson. I mean it’s a bit far fetched that they would go “hah we just caused a crime, I know we should stand around at the scene of the crime and arrange to fight them!” Never in my life has that happened, or even seen a news story of something like this.

Another thing is, its not as if your going to have 30 people v another 30 people, like EVERYONE has to go? Stand on a field and run at each other like medieval times? And somehow nobody is going to see you? Or hear you? May I remind you if there are major injuries they are on the news most of the time, and most arson cases are also on the news? And there has been two of these were hospitalisations have happened? What, is the news asleep on Thursdays?

Okay so ill pretend this is real, it really depends on how old you are, if it’s primary school then who cares? You will be forgotten in a week when a new set of pokemon cards come out in shops or whatever. If its secondary school then it just depends if you want to fight or not, if you do then go do it and face the consequences of maybe getting in trouble or hurt but if you don’t want to but don’t want to seem like a fool to your friends (who I have to say if they are that judgemental must be idiots) then just get in trouble that means you have to stay behind at class or pretend you have to stay home. If you are in any other education higher than that, then I am sorry but that’s just sad.

Your making it sound like this is the 1400 BC and you are Spartacus ready to fight battle! And I am sorry if it is true, but its too dramatic to be true.

I thought my school was bad with just one little tussle between two people about once a month. But flipping heck..

Isn't the sane thing to do to tell the Headteacher and watch it from a safe distance..?

if you don't show up, you're classed as a ***** and you get abused for all your time. I've been to the past 2 and people always end up hospitalized. Thing is i'm friends with the whole school basically (both schools) and i don't wanna attempt to hurt any of them?

    What should i do?
