I read like a few months after WaW's release after the announcement of MW2 that Trearch were working on a new one, apparently again set in WW2. Dunno of any new details though but I've known this for a bit.

Actually, Activision is trying to find Cold War and Vietnam era music. They're also trying to licence Vietnam weapons too.

Would definitely spice up the series.

Rumoured too that COD7 will be called Call of Duty: World at War II , as Activision registered the name a while ago.

I just heard that some guys form Xbox World 360 got to look at the NVGs and they are cheap crappy ones that don't even use natural light but they pick up infrared beams (basically you will be able to see the beam come from your Tv remote to you Tv) So don't expect to be wondering round you house in the dark.
