I have been talking to her best friend throughout all this and she has been pretty helpful in suggesting that it could be the right time to say something.

I have never tried to read between the lines throughout all this and if anything, approached the subject pessimistically just in case it would go wrong.

She's a best friend to me, and has always been there during worse of times as well as sharing laughs during the good.
