You are right. It's not maturity. You are also right if it was a normal member they would be infracted. However, it isn't. Nothing can be done and that's that. I have realised that by always complaining about little things, nothing will happen. I'm a new man baby!

So like someone replies to your hissy fit leaving thread trying to explain something and you start a fight of it yeah. I don't understand all the bad press mods get tbh, I don't like some of them as people but mostly they do the job right I think. I'm hardly the nicest person around but generally I stick within the rules and the warnings/infractions that I do get are expected most of the time. It's really not difficult to not get punished even when you're not on good terms with staff, and it doesn't exactly help you to get angry about it

It wasn't a hissy fit, did you bother to read it? Only 1 post was actually edited, and Jins was by far the most immature of them all. I couldn't care less what terms I'm on with mods, they shouldn't be playing favorites for their friends on a forum.

stop being so bitter, the reason they act this way is because all you do is complain, if you had one nice thing to say they'd probably deal with you better. one smod's reply doesn't count for every other, i have an idea which smod it was and i reckon more smods should follow his lead because the rest (including mods) are just wimps when it comes to dealing with people and let members do the job for them. although i'd always agree that jin should maybe set a better example i don't really think "ARE you an idiot" is insulting as opposed to "you are an idiot" but the rest is deffo patronizing but what can you do about it?


I also agree that some people get infracted for jokes when others don't when they're serious, that'll always be a problem because they'll never know what's a joke and what's not, if you think a post is rude bloody well report it and if smods don't deal with it it's because they don't think it is.


if u have a complaint about a smod, there's a forum for that. nothing will ever be improved this way. :S

I've complained many times, seeing as it's about Jin and another SMOD, nothing has got done in days, and nothing will get done. I couldn't care less about the reason they act the way they act tbh, they're higher up, in Jin's case the HIGHEST UP, and he still continues to break rules when he knows nothing can be done about it.

I would assume the people that are supposed to RUN and OWN the forum should follow their own rules. And if they don't they should get the same punishment as everyone else.

Yes they should but users are given leeway as well (as moderators know damn well that people can sometimes have 'bad days'). If it's a user's first offence, for example, they are just given a PM. Stop jumping on everything they say and turning it into some sort of vendetta. You're making yourself look silly (and that's putting it nicely).

Users and Mods and Owners are three very different things. If it was ME that posted that, with atleast 2 rules broken, I'd have an infraction this instant. But since it's Jin, nothing will get done. Ever.
