When I see a thread like this and I've seen many seeing as I was with the Rare Values department back when it was amazing (joke, calm it). The first thing that springs to my mind is that the individual who created the thread has actually just purchased some of the rares they're moaning about. I imagine that to be true in your case too. You haven't created this because you care about the department or wish to offer constructive feedback but because you want personal gain. That is obviously the wrong way to go about things.
The department is going through a transitional period and there is/going to be a new manager (not sure if it has been announced). Maybe the previous manager wasn't on top of the super rare value market. I wouldn't know as I personally no longer dabble in the super market myself thus I can't be critical or full of praise. I suggest you give the new management team to settle in and put their own individual mark on the department. Only then should you begin to criticise.
I have to put the argument in that Habbox Rare Values are only a guide. I assure you that if they didn't value super rares so many people would be scammed/ripped off and lose their supers because they weren't aware of their value. All it would take is 3 well known casino owners to tell someone gold dragons had crashed to 7t or whatever then sell it on and split the profit. You under estimate what lengths people go to to make profit, being dishonest is hardly the worst of these - it'd happen far too frequently.
If you don't wish to use the values then don't. If like you say that people are trading their supers for different values to the habbox guide prices then that suggests that people are ignoring Habbox anyway - thus it shouldn't be an issue for you.
I felt this post was worthy of making my post count go from 16,000 to 16,001.
