What's a funfair without arcades? Well, not fun, some people would say! I'm personally a rides person myself but there are some people who just spend all their time in the arcades, inserting pennies and hoping to get... well, pennies really.

As part of our funfair month, the competitions department are bringing you the first ever Arcade Tournament! Well, how does this work? It's very simple. There will be 8 different tournaments with 8 people, each staffed by an individual competition staff member (and MattGarner because he's cool). The 8 winners of this tournament will be entered manually into the final! Simple?!!

The tournaments are as follows (in alphabetical order):

Asteroids (MattGarner)
Bat and Mouse (Joeyseph)
Breakout (Alex3213)
Chopper (Cutbrakes)
Curveball (Blacktux)
Snake (Inseriousity.)
Space Invaders (Jay.)
Tetris (Xzoid)
Final: Pacman

If you're still confused, here are a few answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

Q) How many tournaments am I allowed to enter?
A) To allow as many people to play as possible, you are only allowed to enter one of the eight tournaments. If you enter more than more, you will be banned from ALL of them for the duration of the tournament. Only the official tournaments (as listed above) are for this tournament. Any other tournament is simply for fun!

Q) But I haven't got the right permissions to use the Arcade! Can I still play?
A) Permissions have been changed by Jin so that everyone is allowed to play. They will be changed back as soon as the tournament has ended.

Q) What if the game I wanted is full?
A) I'm sorry but it's unfortunately a first come first serve basis. Feel free to join any game. You never know, you might win! Once all the tournaments have been filled, sorry but there'll be no chance of playing in the tournament.

Q) Arcade? WHAT ARCADE?!!!
A) Trust me, it's definitely been there for a while. It can be located here but it would be easier to just click the links provided.

Q) Will the competitions staff/MattGarner be playing or just supervising?
A) It is up to them but they have been permitted to play (as there can be no favourtism on an automated system).

Q) Will there be more Arcade Tournaments in the future?
A) Let's just get past the first one before we start thinking about another!

Competition Terms & Conditions

To enter this competition you must be a registered member of Habbox Forum. Habbox is giving all its members (including Habbox staff) the opportunity to enter competitions. You are still able to enter the tournament until all spaces have been taken. Members are only allowed to enter for one per Internet Protocol; breach of this rule may consider in a temporary or permanent ban from entering Habbox's competitions. Can you take me out of the Breakout tournemant please? I didn't know you could only enter one so I entered Curveball instead. I prefer the Curveball one, so can you remove me from Breakout?
