I laugh at how you edited your post then. Since you clearly got that all wrong.

They can have as many sets as they want but they are limited to how many they can use over a grand prix weekend, (even practice sessions) but during a race they must use both compounds.

Is that the best you can do? I back him up 100% with his reply as an avid watcher of F1 since as early as I was old enough to understand it. That would be a good 11 years.

Lack of knowledge it would seem, it still won't be "None stop racing" seeing as they're still going to have to pit for tyres.

First of all it makes the pit lane a whole lot safer, there's been various issues with fuel hoses and cars going too early etc. And just a few races back, Kovalanien was released with the fuel hose still attached which toppled all over Raikonnen, which promptly ignited a fire. Luckily nothing came of it but that's hardly the point.

The main thing is it stops all these fuel strategies and people being fuelled extremely lightly during qualifying only to pit stop a few laps into the race.

It created so much action whenever that happened but you are completely right. I think it's a big step forward for both safety and overall entertainment.

Also cuts costs. F1 as of late is all about saving money.
