O2 are going the way AT&T have in the US, their network is struggling to keep up now, and they have even admitted it!

The difference being AT&T are living under a rock and denying it and O2 say they're already sorting it. I haven't noticed any network problems on my phone that's on o2 except crap coverage on trains, never noticed that before

errr? the iPhone 3G doesn't mean third-generation, the 3G was the second iPhone. The 3GS is the third iteration. The fifth will not be called '5G', as 3G reflects the use of wireless 3G network internet.

and the 3GS is the 4th generation... so if he got one now his plan would be over in time for the 5th gen... as he stated.
