Amazon because as has already been said - it's more trustworthy. That being said some of the independant sellers on the marketplace are a bit dodgey but I've had nothing but good service using it, touch wood.

Amazon half the people on Ebay are either people selling fakes from China or some guy from Africa trying to scam you with stolen credit cards.

atleast with Amazon the sellers are more trusted but amazon is mostly electronic stuff now adays not just books.

I just go with what ever is cheapest but it does depend on the product. I've been buying lots of CDs recently, and sometimes you can save about £5 on ebay so it's worth it. A good mix of the two gets you the best products at the best prices

I think some of you are going a bit OTT with all this trustworthiness and quality control, the majority of eBayers have sold thousands of items and are very safe to use.

I've only used eBay for games which are ridiculously overpriced on Amazon (Example - Bought FF9 off eBay for £17, Amazon's cheapest is selling for £50) . So I'd have to go with eBay. Anything else online is bought from Play.com or another respective online specialist retailer. About people being trustworthy, it doesn't take a braniac to look at someones feedback and see if their is any negative comments. I only buy with people that have over 1000 feedback and 99.5%+ of that which is positive.

depends entirely on price. sometimes amazon is cheaper, sometimes ebay. usually depends on what youre buying.

but i have amazon prime, so i get free 2 day shipping on all my orders. thats a plus.
