I don't get how water demand can be at an all time high in weather like this :S.

Anyway, have the taps actually been cut off in some counties? In Limerick they have to actually go and collect their water?

Limerick City Council is supplying water at a number of locations and people can collect water in containers.

Limerick County Council is doing likewise and is providing water for collection at its offices at Dooradoyle, Annacotty, Kilmallock, Rathkeale and Newcastlewest.

Ye like big tankers come around so they can get water. Its back now. And people leave their taps running so piped dont frezzez thats why its in high demand

Or even perhaps if you could remember you would remember the United Kingdom did suffer water shortages a few summers ago, in which I was showing how governments fail to prepare for events such as these when it should be there key focus especially as it is Ireland which is a water-rich country all year round.

Well yeah, because the government are in control and when the government has not built enough water supplies then the blame lies with the government. Water pipes bursting is not the fault of the government though, obviously.
