    Hadouken! ?
    Master Shortie
    Fugative
    Metro Station
    Groove Amanda
    Dionne Broomfield

    Lol, I know all these.

Let's put it simply. Radio 1 playlist features artists and gives them a chance to 'rise' up in the charts. Erik Hassle, Hadouken, Fugative and Master Shortie are an example of this. These artists are then seeking to promote their new material (Habbo!) and (i think) if a song is requested lots it moves up on the playlist thus becoming more popular and gaining more air time.

Groove Armada have been around for YEARS. Probably since you were born.
Metro Station are known because Miley Cyrus & Mitchell Musso's Brothers are in the band.
Donnie Bromfield is Amy Winehouses .... step daughter or something?!?
Demi Lovato is widely know cus of Selena Gomez (Wizards of wavely place) and the whole Disney thing.

So there you go, get in the know people ;D

I think Lily Allen is/was the highest-profile person they'll get (had).

But at the time of her visit she was only on her second single of her first album and people didn't like her as much as they love her now
