Nadal can't beat him with ease anymore. It will take a while for him to get back on form and to comeback from his injuries but when he does get there then yeah Nadal can beat him.

someone said in an earlier post that he couldn't care less if England didn't win the World Cup - or something familiar.

    so, yeah?

i can see why. i supported murray but his personality is pretty poor, he's often said stupid things. most famously, "i'm not british, i'm scottish". however, there is no shame in losing to the best ever tennis player. should've done better in the 3rd set and taken his chances.

I didn't see the first set but he did try so hard in the 2nd and 3rd, especially in the tie break in the 3rd set. Federer was just too good and there's no pride lost in losing to him at all. I get what people are sayig though, Murray is often hard to like but you just have to stick with him if you're British, not as if we have much choice is it?

    Yeah, and that too Ardemax.
Just because I'm british doesn't mean I have like him.

Federer is one of my favourite sport competitors because I love the commitment he puts in and the great sportsmanship he offers.

If you did a bit more research into it then you'd see that it was twisted way out of context and was meant as a joke.

As much as I don't like his personality and I do prefur Nadal, he is British, and I'd rather Murray win than anyone else because of that.

Why are people suggesting that we have to like murray just because he's british?

Personally, i wanted him to win, but not too bothered that he didnt. He's done well to get there and i'm sure he'll have is day.

Not saying that you have to like him at all but for British people to say:

    HAHA SCREW YOU MURRAY. idiot.

    Well played Federer
Then I think that's wrong because it's like an English person saying:

    HAHA SCREW YOU ENGLAND. idiot.

    Well played Spain
OK maybe it isn't as bad as that but I think that it is basically the same thing. Fair enough if you prefur Federer and wanted him to win, but I think that you can go a bit too far especially when he is representing your own area.

Saying that I suppose it's upto people what they think of Murray and I can see why English people don't like him but then again if most people actually did a bit of research into him instead of believing gossip, then you'd see how much of the crap about him hating England is made up or taken out of context.
