No, you definitely cannot got Sky red button on Virgin, why would Sky do that? it would mean them loosing ££. Yes you can get BBC red button cause its free to the British TV License fee payer lmao.

Yes Geraint you're exactly right, just another way to gain subscriptions/money, very smart though.

No I said Freeview as you said red button is only available on SKY, so your post sounded as if the red button was an exclusive feature for SKY customers only.

Sky Red Button is exclusive to Sky, as its Sky's services. Sky Sports Red Button has about 7-10 channels. So does the BBCs, but the BBCs is available to Freeview.

About the people who pay Sky for Sky Sports?

Virgin users still have ITV 4

Its good to see cricket back on free tv, now all we need is The Ashes return but that wont be for a long time Sky have the rights for this years and 2013's as well i think.

Afaik Sky have the rights but they are being contested by the Government, because they want it to be on Terrestrial Television. I can see all the football, cricket, and future sports on ITV going on that new channel they're planning to set up (available on Freeview via TopUp TV, also on Sky and Virgin), where it would either mean paying via Pay Per View fee or Monthly Subscription, can see it happening If I'm honest, makes sense for them, not good for us though.
