If to members, then well it just depends what they are willing to pay. I would guess about £20 a month tbh as the audience is limited and the members arent exactly all rich.
Still, £20 a month is £240 a year which we could no doubt do with :p but yeah I guess it would depend on popularity, see what Jin says.

Indeed. If they dont find a buyer for a month then thats fine. If they do then great, extra income.
Seeing so many people sell hosting, I am sure someone will pay for the spot.

Another spot they could sell is at the bottom above the Skin chooser. They can easily sell that to outsiders for cheap and get $10 per link. - Put 5 link there next to each other in a rounded box.

Great thing about the bottom is that it doesn't really affect members and people do buy it.

If you put a marquee there I think you'd generated alot more, not like a normal left-to-right marquee but a marquee that rolls down like credits, pausing a while on each one. I also think the user bar at the top should stay at the top even when cycling down on the forum, that'd be an awesome thing to have, plus it'd promote advertising alot more.

If its a static fixed one link, you would get more money than the credits type.

And honestly, I would really hate to have the userbar at the top to be at the top permanently.

    Beat me to it Saurav

Yeh when we gave the option the quote was mental. Someone I talked to asked and was quoted £300 a month - £10 a day is a nono

I say if it generates any revenue at all, then Habbox is being foolish just by not doing it. It's barely noticeable to the average member which is a win win as long as it's bringing money in. [enter Tesco slogan here]

Yeah, its at the top and most people usually look at the posts, so it doesn't really affect the members that much.
Maybe give me a 10% share of the revenue as I suggested this idea. (H) haha.
