I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
If IW are really smart, they won't care as people will buy it anyway.
If Crash and Overgrown are actually the only two old maps in the new pack, I will be amazed because they're my two favourites![]()
Microsoft beat Sony to the punch and payed money for the DLC to come on their platform first.
Obviously a company, if they want to suceed would accept such an offer.
Maps are a rip off anyway, I'm not pay 1200 MS points for two maps I've already played (on CoD4) and 3 new maps, when MW2 is such a broken unfun game to play.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
& I think one maps just a reskin (like chinatown). Also I doubt Sony actually attempted to get them imo, 1 month exclusivity is pointless tbh.
I don't think they've ever got timed exclusivity and it is kinda a waste of money really.
I must admit I can't see the point. One map pack isn't going to make tons of PS3 users switch to the 360. I'll probably end up getting the map pack eventually, but I doubt it'll be for some time.
The problem I think will appear is that because it's slightly over priced, I doubt a lot of people will get it straight away, thus the chances of the new maps appearing in the map rotation is quite slim. I mean look at it already, I don't know if it's just me but getting maps like Terminal and Skidrow seem to be a lot rarer than Rundown and Underpass
That's such a good point! If not many people buy it, then you'll never get on it anyway... that's put me off completely now. Even when I first got MW2, it only put me on the same four or five maps constantly for the first month or two. Then I suddenly discovered a whole load of others but even then, there was still at least one that I never ever saw.I must admit I can't see the point.
