I got a warning for telling somsone to empty there inbox, how else would i be able to tell them that

There isn't a set number of warnings you have before you're banned. All warnings are recorded and if we notice a member has a large amount of warnings then we report it to an admin who will look into it.

It also depends on what the offence was, for example somebody who breakes the Forum Rule "A16. Do not put more than 30 characters in your Location for your profile" wouldn't be treated as harshly as someone who repeatedly swore for example.

You also have to take into consideration that some people don't know they're breaking the Forum Rules -- which is another reason why we warn via PM.

Mm, I always send warnings. It's part of mods job. A lot of new users start double posting..etc, and if you warn them it's 99% they will get ''scared'' and they'll stop doing it but there are always some users who ignore the warnings and I don't suggest that it doesn't end good. I warn people so they know what they did wrong and they won't keep repeating their mistakes, if they do I'll take further actions agaisnt them..I get rude replies sometimes to warnings I sent and I really don't reccomend doing that. :8
We got new sytsem now and we can check how many times you got warned..(mods will know what I'm on about) and if warnings will keep coming you'll just get banned probaly.

We now have a system for mods, that lets them post in your user notes.
This means if you break a rule now, they will post it in your usernote with ceartin details, if we then feel you have had too many warnings you will be cautioned or banned.
