I need a slim. My 60GB oldie keeps humming like a jet plane while the 250GB slims all want my discs inside of them.

They both have their good points and they both have their bad points (breaking all the time... ps3 having a 1% failiure rate?? my arse)

I've just grown up with playstations so im just used to the controller, i really cant get my hands around the 360 one

Same here, more people I know play Xbox 360 so it would be more fun to play against them online but I'm hopeless with the controller.

MY PS3 sounds like it's on its last legs too, humming/buzzing all the time, will probably need a PS3 Slim myself.

The slim is so quiet! It's so much better than the other one... and i go a 250gb one of rthe same price as a 120gb lol

On the plus side you wont have to have a completely massive gaming console when you get your slim.

At least the PS3 Slim works, even when they original has problems, the Slim still works. The Slim is what the original PS3 should of been.
