In that case if it has been standing a long time - it could be dirty fuel or even the spark plugs. Best to have someone have a look.![]()

Have you checked your vacuum lines? I've had a loose vacuum line in the Accord that triggered some error codes. I also had an O2 sensor go in it as well and that made the car sluggish and extremely hard on fuel.

Mine cut out in the Mersey tunnel once - scariest thing that's ever happened to me. That was something to do with the fan belt needing adjusting I think.
could have been your serpentine belt. My old Accord would squeel when I would start it and the A/C would do weird things to the lights. It got to the point where the car would lose power and feel like the electrics were gunna go![]()

When you're going along at about 60 or 70 and you suddenly notice the speedo dropping and then realise it's cut out, it's such a sickening feeling!![]()
No, when you're ordering food at the wendy's drive-thru at lunch time and your car cuts out.. not so cool!

Haven't had this properly repaired yet, but have noticed I was when it cut out and I restarted this morning, my fuel was on almost zero, then after starting again its gone up to almost a quarter? Is this normal....
no
Sounds like you have alot of miss fortune with you car swearwolf... i personally dont drive but ive spent quite alot of time in cars lol shame these problems didnt show up in the test drive, maybe then the pervious owner would have either dropped the price or paid for repairs eh
Lmao mine always did that too.... I'd be going down the motorway staring at fuel gauge in despair lol. While it seemed unreliable, I think it behaved when it was near empty so you knew to fill it up.
