Engineering is pretty decent at Manchester. I'm doing physics.

That's cool as long as the shopping is good but then again with the budgeting i will have to do it will be Primark and Ikea all the way.

old trafford is pretty far from it.. i think you can get a bus right near the uni to it tho. its in town sorta so yeh lol, you'll get your shopping down there.

Can't tell you much about universities but I can advertise Manchester to you :}

Trafford Centre isn't near Manchester University as Manchester Uni is in the City of Manchester. It does have the Arndale Centre which is prtty much Trafford Cantre but half the size ;]. Also has a Primark -oh yes. http://www.manchesterarndale.com/ that's just shopping for you :}
