    I've had nothing but trouble with getting my picture onto the tv lol.

    Get a new graphics card with a DVI port (they're really not that expensive).

    Then just get a DVI to HDMI cable.

    Get the GPU i posted earlier, the first link is £21 and you won't need a new PSU or anything. and it has an HDMI socket on board.

    Very simple. Open your computer up, find the slot that the graphics card corresponds with, unscrew the expansion bay cover, gently press the graphics card into its slot, screw the bracket to the case. Then boot up, install drivers.

    Thing is, i tried
    VGA -> Scart
    VGA -> HDMi
    VGA -> Componet

    My TV is the same, no VGA input, only scart and HDMI but mine also has compnent

    The problem i had was my TV wasnt the right Hertz, so i couldnt do it at all, even with a new graphics card

    I gave up and bought a moniter

    Now ive got 2 of them because there cheap and pritty good for the money

    But if youve got £20 quid more get an acer one

    You'd need a DVI-D out or HDMI out to connect to HDMI.
    The analogue formats used for PAL/NTSC and PC VGA out are incompatible.
