It's sick humour, although some people wouldn't feel that way and could consider him as attempting to bring light or humour on the situation. For instance, look at all the Michael Jackson jokes on the internet, is it a laughing matter that he molested children? Should the media and websites be able to make jokes about it that the general population of kids and adults find humour in?

Terrorists have been around forever, I don't personally think it's insensitive. It's a fact of life that there are bad people in the world and children often mimic or do stupid things for attention.
