Ofcourse there will be a sequel. It's grossed around $75 mill world wide when it only cost $30 mill to produce and theres been so many good reviews but it's just a matter of when since the director has agreed to do xmen: first class

Kick-Ass was probably the best film I've seen this year. I hope they decide to make it.

Sponge, you'd be surprised what's considered a success in this industry. Kick-Ass has not been terribly successful at the box office.

I know, but loads of people are saying its a flop at the box office which i supose is nearly true but it was marketed really poorly which is probably half the reason of the box office gross. But its got alot of good reviews and all of the cast have said they would love to do a sequel.

In the states, Lionsgate are distributing it and they pretty much went overkill in the marketing to the point where I think it turned a lot of people's noses. I'm friends with the marketing director of Universal - he wouldn't like to hear you say that! It's by no means a flop, but at the same time not a huge success. It's had a modest gross. Enough for a sequel? Yes, but not definite, though I always believed there would be anyway.
