    Safe to say you have a faulty part in there...

    Maybe the graphics card? The PC is designed to shut down if it finds a fault, lets just say its something like a break in the circuit...

    My computer did it a while back... my graphics card broked...

    Have a mess around and let me know +REP if it fixed

    'tis a good idea.

    Most PCs wont boot without a graphics card installed of some kind, so leave that in, take all your RAM out apart from one stick, unplug all the drives and any non-standard peripherals and see if it boots.

    Of course your computer will boot without a gfx card in. Most standard motherboards come with a built in 64mb gfx port so it will boot

    No it won't if there's no graphics card at all.
