My house was built to be ultra-modern and sustainable, it doesn't even have bricks, it's made out of wood. Yeah that does sound like it's in the dark ages but it's got loads of glass and everything, which all together makes it look super modern. I love my house and its many floors and I've never liked old homes, they tend to look too dated and I've just never liked old things, I'm into the future, not the present or past, so I would say ultra-modern houses

LOL saw title of the thread and thought 'period' or a 'new house.' Periods are painful.

kk now I get it lolol, much prefer period houses. These new 'modern' buildings make me think 'WHY?!!!'

Period definitely. They're generally bigger and have better features and everything. The Scottish Parliament is an example of where modern has went wrong.
