Did you catch swine flu?

I was really ill at the time of it. We did the online-self-symptom-checker on the NHS website and it flashed up that I had swine flu. Printed off the paper, took it down to the pharmacy and they gave me the tamiflu tablets. Took them for five days and had some days off school. It was terrible

So I still don't know whether I had it or not as the doctor never really confirmed it, but I was fine after the tablets.

I normally get flu-type symptoms over Christmas.

Yes, quite a few people where I live did and I contracted it from one of my best friends. How dare he!

I hated delivering papers first thing in the morning with headlines such as "SWINE FLU DEATH TOLL REACHES 328436464.2" it just made me wanna be at home all the time

Wasn't near enough the whole world supposed to get swine flu? So much for the NHS's predictions.

Yeah they were, i think a lot more people got it tha theyre saying. Most people didn't realise because it wasnt as abd as they made out, so many put it down to mild flu or just the common cold.

Do they still have ads about this on the UK radio too? They keep on advising kids (infants) to get the swine flu shot ;l
