Can't you buy a pass which lets you travel as much as you want for a week..? My friend got one last year, don't know what the price works out at though. Suppose it depends on what bus company you use too.

What bus company is it? If it's First you can get student discounts on weekly and montly tickets

Yes but as i live in Bristol zone 1 and my school is bristol zone 3 its still gonna come to 80£.
