booooooooooooooooooooo bring back whoever cleared all themThe infraction you are talking about was issued in 2008 - we moderate completely differently now to in 2008. The infraction you have on your account means pretty much nothing - it is very old!
We are likely to conduct an infractions clear out and it has popped up several times however we have a couple of things planned that we'd like to execute before doing this.
May I also highlight that any clear out would be of expired infractions only.
could have sworn all mine went
Yeh expired infractions clearings from time to time are always a good idea.

I don't need an investigation now, i'm just pointing out the corruption which occurred in the recent past, and how the posts which started it all off were removed by somebody. No action at the time was taken against the actual scammer and that was also when I received the warning.
This is simply something which is on my account which I want removed because it is a false accusation against me. The staff member no longer being a part of the moderation department is more reason for its ilegitimacy and for its removal.
Recent past? 2008! That's two years. I wouldn't call that recent. And just because a member of staff is no longer part of the moderation department doesn't make all their work for it null and void.I don't need an investigation now, i'm just pointing out the corruption which occurred in the recent past, and how the posts which started it all off were removed by somebody. I can understand why it is not allowed publicly on the forum because even if you think you have strong evidence, chances are it would be easy to fake. I'm not sure what you mean about privately though and anyway as Oli said things are completely different now. Also just a quick opinionated question towards the management on the similar topic and other members who may wish to express their opinions:
Do you think it is fair to receive an infraction for reporting someone for an illegal activity (in this case a scam) where you were affected and even at the time had strong evidence to prove it. I can understand receiving one for accusing someone of illegal activities publicly on the forum and with no evidence but when privately reporting an incident to a moderator and then receiving an infraction for that in return is outrageous.
If the last clear-out was only a year ago I don't see the point of another one so soon - kinda makes infractions pointless if the suggestion is that it's likely for them [expired ones] to just be wiped off at any time. But can't complain lol![]()
