Just a quick update on this, this is seriously not for the casual developer. I am struggling a lot with this and it is very easy to lose track of what it running/what CMD prompts are doing what etc. I assume Adobe will tidy this up before it is released fully, but this prerelease is messsyyy. Feel free to post some suggestions for apps though and I shall have a go when I have this working!

Have you checked out the new releases they posted the other day? I haven't read the changelogs but it may clear it up a bit.

On second thought I'm paranoid that I'm now going to be bombarded by apps that run slow, because AIR apps for Windows and OS X are sort of sluggy, and they wont have JIT on Android will they?

I'm using all the new stuff, I still have no idea why my application won't run properly. But oh well, I'm sure the people on the Adobe forum will help.

I honestly have no idea at the moment. I'll try some load tests to see how sluggy it gets when I get this thing working if you're up for testing (I assume you have an Android phone )

If the Adobe AIR runtime compiles with JIT, then yes. Good news, my application now launches (I was using the device AIR runtime, not the emulator runtime lolol) but I get some crazy new error. I shall play when I have more time. Ideas for applications greatly appreciated

This very tiny Hello World (yes it says that) makes me happy. Has taken me a while to work out why my application wouldn't start, but i've finally got it working Running Froyo in the emulator.

Played with the application descriptor file, got a bit of full screen going. Just got to work out why my icons won't compile into the apk now
