    Well...
I had been building up ALL day to go on the ride and just after 2pm I finally had the guts to queue up for it. The queue took about 25 minutes and by that time we had to go to the coach. We was at the front of the queue standing by the entry gates to go on the carriage and then my teacher rang us up and said "get to the coach now!" So when the rollercoaster stopped to pick it's next lot of passengers up... we couldn't do anything else but walk across and go to the exit
So I was basically, 30 seconds from being strapped in and facing my fears. Maybe it might've been for the best, I could've had a heart attack :L But I really am gutted I didn't go on it.

I'm frightened of heights too and I've experienced the Pepsi Max, it's pretty good! I was influenced to go on through a coin toss with tails being the 'no go'. The coin landed on tails but my mum looked so disappointed and I couldn't have that because after all we hadn't come to Blackpool just so I could enjoy myself. I endured the ride and came off with painful wrists from holding on so tightly. The Pepsi Max is the ONLY rollercoaster I've actually been on.

I'm not afraid of heights, but I'm terrified of spiders, which come in many numbers in the sumertime here in Canada. I completely freak out and get as far away from them as possible. I don't really know how I could confront this!
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

I confused myself when I went to Alton Towers.

It took me all day to actually go on a roller coaster and I decided to go on the oldest and most headacheing ride - the corkscrew =S

I was always scared of high rides, then I just went on them and I love them now. You just have to think, your strapped in and nothing can go wrong (usually).

Rollercoasters are just about the safest thing you can do. Compare a Rollercoaster to a car on the motorway:

    1. A Rollercoaster is on a fixed rail, a car is free so collisions can potentially occur.
    2. Rollercoasters are checked several times daily, cars are not.
    3. Rollercoasters are operated by professionals, anyone can drive a car
    4. An average Rollercoaster will actually go slower than a car on the motorway.

I personally LOVE Rollercoasters and when you think about it logically they are ridiculously safe, it's only because of the height and the fact that they are open top that people are scared in my opinion. If you get the chance then go on one, as Dan says, you won't regret it!

yeah... It took me like 5 hours to pluck up the courage to go on the Baby Catarpillar...
And Top Spin in Blackpool, if you've heard of it? That goes pretty high too, but I forced myself on it, queued up and when some-one else was behind me, that was it, no going back...
