If you buy one of them overpriced official cases from Apple, that signal problem is like not there any more. (I think)
Although Apple said they will be offering a fix or something, probably to show the bars.

Apple always knew about the wages, they just didn't give a **** until it became big news. Corporate greed makes me sick.
Foxconn wasn't slave labour, it paid above average, the conditions were generally good and believe it or not, the suicide rate was very slow. I also think it's unfair to dump the blame on Apple, let's not forget Foxconn also make Motorola and Nokia phones, as well as the Microsoft Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3 for Sony, Intel Motherboards, Nintendo Wii, Dell computers and HP computers.
Another problem with the iPhone is if you drop it from a very small height it will shatter like no other phone, and not only that but Apple have failed to make part replacements available to Apple stores yet so little can be done about it. 'tis very fragile. I hope they sort it out for their customers soon enough, if they wish to charge such premiums for their products they're really going to have to prove themselves in how they handle this.
Apple sure doesn't have a good trackrecord for flawless releases do they?
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
Makes me laugh, this has already proven to be a SOFTWARE BUG. It happens on iPhone 3G/3GS's too. Apple are *apparently* releasing iOS 4.0.1 soon to fix the issue.

Apple mentioned any more news on the fix? Last time I heard it was this:
"Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone."
