Kick-Ass was brilliant, just the whole notion of favouritism from between around 1-3 years is bemusing to me.

So I can expect Forrest Gump to be a favourite of yours as well? Good choices. Its interesting you picked 2001 though. Most would go for A Clockwork Orange out of Kubricks films and as far as sci-fi goes 2001 usually misses out on first place due to Blade Runner or Star Wars. 2001 is a fantastically deep film though. I had Kubrick as my director for film studies back in college and explaining all the odds and ends of the narrative in 2001 was a hefty task.

Gump is up there too, along with Back to the Future. Moon is on my list too, as you can probably tell from 2001 being 1#.So I can expect Forrest Gump to be a favourite of yours as well? I just find the character of HAL more fascinating than any other villain or any other character ever. Blade Runner was ruddy good, but I just didn't think it dealt with too deep of themes as 2001 did. I wasn't too keen on The Shining, the only Horror film I have ever seen, but I did take a liking to A Clockwork Orange. Eyes Wide Shut is a clever piece of work, but I have yet to see Full Metal Jacket.
I need to make a top ten list some day.
Well I would personally say Blade Runner is just as deep as 2001 but to each his own I guess. I recommend getting around to watching Full Metal Jacket, there are a lot of good war movies out there and it is most definitely one of them. I own the Kubrick boxset but still have yet to watch Lolita, Dr. Strangelove and Barry Lyndon. I find the only problem with Kubrick's films is that you have to be in exactly the right mood to watch them, but then again every time you do watch them you always spot something new or catch on to something you didn't before.Gump is up there too, along with Back to the Future. Mine is and always will be.. Ninja Scroll
Best anime/movie I have ever seen.
It's also rated number 1 of all anime movies.
Well worth purchasing/downloading!
