    I think its an awful idea. Especially to release it in this economic climate... In Scotland I dont think there is any difference except we pay it in our tax which is rising...

    and so it should, dramatically. Too much resources are allocated to Scotland, way more per person than England.

    Decreasing because there are too many, too many useless degrees (media, photography etc) and too many people going to university.

    The solution to this is to privatise the good universities whilst closing the slacking ones altogether. In the place of university places you move towards apprenticeships and stop giving many youngsters false hope they that are going to get a job through going to university, because it is simply not true and merely degrades those who genuinely should be going to university. I heard that this country produces more photography students per year than is needed for jobs in the whole of Europe.
