    I have one.. and a solar charger.
    They are a pile of crap. Just get a new battery and carry it around with you then swap it out when you get low on battery.

    I have an emergency one that uses 2 AA batteries too but I've never actually used it so I can't really comment.

    I bought a philips power charge pack a few months ago.
    Its absolutley amazing. It has 60 hours of power according the website
    Can also charge netbooks and some laptops so its pretty cool
