im a really heavy reader, but i dont think i really have a favorite author cause i read all sorts of things, mostly non-fiction. but ill say;

dead authors: upton sinclair or kurt vonnegut
still living: chuck klosterman or malcom gladwell

JK Rowling, I normally just read a book once but I've read Harry Potter loads of times!

But there are a few others like James Patterson, Roald Dahl and Phillip Pullman (I think that's his name - the Dark Materials triology anyway with Lyra) I like too.
