Yes, it was certainly underplanned and I take full responsibility for this! On a much brighter note I am extremely excited as to how popular the sleepover has been - the room has been very popular all day. The event started hours ago and even now the room is completely packed!I agree, some events should have been organised. It wasn't planned that good I admit but if we do have another one i'm sure David and Shar will plan it much better than this one. I haven't been watching it due to being busy but when i've been on Habbo the room has been popular all night.
And saying 'making kids stay on the computer all day' it isn't our fault, you decided to enter it so you can leave at any time and giving VIP to everyone would defeat the point of the competition as some others said.
I love it, we definitely need to spice things up like this if we do another sleepover in the future - contestants were talking about being bored. We've had a staff meeting to discuss various activities we could do to tackle this and there's definitely going to be improvements such as visitors vs staff, 30 minute tasks by staffmembers, things like that!I agree. Sleepover was a good idea for an event if there were things to entertain them in between. not entirely sure cos its short notice but random things that get done at sleepovers (even if you have to slip into embarrassing cliches) could have been adapted into an event to eliminate people and make it into a proper event rather than the 'keep-hxhd-busy' event it is
It's good to see HxHD thinking outside the box anyway, keep it up

seems a bit stupid as people can just move/talk once every 10 or so minutes to not get auto kick.. then they could actually win by doing that
which is my opinion is partially cheating, people who are actually active for all (/most) of the time are the deserving winners.
if you're gonna do it again then you should do random spot checks every half hour and if no one replies within 10 seconds then they should be kicked![]()

Yes I noticed one or two users doing this in the early stages of the event who were told to stop. I think (hopefully) If we started doing tasks once every half hour or so it would cut down on cheaters doing thisseems a bit stupid as people can just move/talk once every 10 or so minutes to not get auto kick.. then they could actually win by doing that

9 hours and 6 people still playing fml
Silly idea, it's like an e-sleepover which is just so sad. I mean, I pity those who stayed up all this time.
You need events, and I had a big hunch that this would fail. Ah well, better luck next time!

Well--not to prove your hunch wrong but it most certainly did not fail. The room was busy all day![]()

Yes, but the actual sleepover got very boring, especially towards the end. Was it the actual sleepover that made it full because when I was there I saw a bulk just hanging out like normal.

I assume so - HxHD has had a surplus of visitors throughout the summer, athough the fact that we maintained such a high visitor count throughout the entire day suggests that there is an external reason and the sleepover was the most likely the cause.
I completely agree with you about it being overboring and I'd still love to hear suggestions from both staff and feedback on what would be neat ideas to tackle this![]()
