I agree about events team, I was wondering where all the events were the couple of days before HxSS but as HxSS was close by (and we know how stressful that can be sometimes), I didn't really mind. Personally, I think Habbox are taking small steps at adapting for an international userbase with all the giveaways recently and various other things at international times. They are small steps admittedly but they're steps in the right direction at the very least. However, some steps aren't being taken as quickly as they could have been; that thing Saurav pointed out was spotted days after the merge and it's still not been done? We got to keep our eye on the ball!

That being said, I also think that everyone is maybe segregating international and UK a bit too much. International users will still come during UK times and throughout HxSS, there have been numerous Americans, Canadians, Australians (maybe not Singapore users tho) that have signed up to the forum because not of how things are worded in announcements but because it looks like a fun community.

So do I. I see a lot of Americans, Canadians and Australians playing in events because if I'm honest a lot of them are working around their own times. Sure, Americans and Canadians are normally around 4-5 hours behind so their prime time would be around 11pm BST, instead they're playing midday. Of course that's not a problem but to get more people you need those later events. David is a perfect example (sorry Dave, first person who sprung to my event) who could do events at around that time because of his location. During the HxHD Sleepover Josh (Wiizzz) played until 6am which is absoloutely ridiculous for his time and there are the staff which can change this. Of course you can't force anyone to do an event at 2am in the morning, UK, US, CA or wherever but I think everyone would benefit from it.

Fully agree. We also need regular events after the HxSS, I posted regarding this before it. Events make a fansite more popular.

Yeah I'm afraid this is the thing. In July I think the majority of staff were here (including Roxy) but I can't say it improved by much. As a department, you should be striving for success and I think you're one of the few who has done an event during HxSS. What's the minimum limit now? Is it still 3? If so, I think it should be raised to 5 because that's 5 hours a month. If you were DJing, you need to do 3 hours a week (I think?) and they can manage it. 5 hours isn't that much and I know that when I was staff the majority of people were getting 7 or higher anyway (or absolutely fantastic ones like 15). In a 30 day month there are 720 hours, that surely isn't a problem.

With 7 short (4 away and 3 resigned) it cannot be expected to run on full capacity. Up to a couple of weeks ago it was common to have 7/8 events a day. Maybe HXSS could be scheduled next year for July as opposed to high holiday season.

I know Sam and Sam do a hell of a lot too which is fantastic, as does Dilusionate in addition to his Senior duties. I'm afraid I do disagree though. A couple of weeks ago I wasn't seeing 7 or 8 events a day apart from the Events Extraordinaire which all staff were invited to do events. I disagree with your HxSS rescheduling as well, as many people are still at school. Maybe the first 2 weeks of August because I know that members from Scotland and Ireland are back within the last week of HxSS, but the first 2 weeks seems about right. I know Roxy's away this year n all until like tomorrow.

Well I can't disagree with you because I can't find the july calender, but I remember being quite impressed with all the events (including HXL) but the first two weeks of August showed an average of 4/5 a day. The problem was the forum calender was not always updated. School usually finishes about the 20th so most of it could be done then going into the first week of August. As you say the Scottish and Irish are now back at school.
