I agree with Jarvis, if they have a meaning, like a name of a loved one, then yes...

by loved one i hope you mean family member, because getting the name of your girlfriend or honestly even your wife is among the stupidest things people do.

You could always cover them with makeup.

and anyway, i dont mind tattoos too much. the people who get them all over their bodies (i saw this guy with a HUGE tattoo all the way around his neck) are so funnnnnnyyyy sometimes i wish i could see into the future at how angry at themselves they're going to be lol.

tribal tattoos are dumb. getting japanese or chinese characters is really dumb. really any stereotypical tattoo is just annoying. also, people who opt for cheap artists, i just dont understand. if youre going to have something permanently on your body, might as well make it look good.

Some look really classy, but some REALLY don't.

I've already thought about it time and again, and i wouldn't have anything daft like a skull or anything, but i am planning on getting a small tattoo with wings surrounding the word 'Dad' on my lower back or shoulder blade.

yeah i could, but i would have to do it in auditions/rehearsals/general calls to avoid being typecasted, and i wouldn't want that.
and you have to declare it on your actors cv.
and it would put certain employers off.

I'd love a tattoo but quite worired if it'll hurt or not and I will probably be really picky about which tattoo I get, it has to be a perfect design lol

If they have meaning there okay but I wouldn't have one! If the person only has like one small one they don't look that bad but if they have loads, I don't really like them!

I'm not a fan of huge ones that are really 'in your face', but I think that smaller ones can look quite nice. Not sure that I'd ever have one myself though.

I'd never get one myself, but I don't mind other people having them as long as they're not like all over their bodies. It's such a big decision to make and I don't think a lot of people think it through and actually realise that they're going to have it forever!
