    By the looks of it the 12m for uk stays the same for now.

    Uproar? Im pretty sure if ps3 online was pay to play as of today 55% of all ps3 owners would cry at the sheer fact

    I'm pretty sure free online is one of the reasons PS3 is more expensive in the first place so obviously no PS3 owner would be happy if they found out they'd have to start paying for online? :S Not trying to start a war here, just saying it's only like a pound/dollar it has gone up by.

    Works out cheaper for me paying £5 a month than paying £40 in one bulk.

    No the ps3 was $800 USD and sold for $500 USD, at launch The whole point of PS+ is to get revenue from psn.

    12 months in a year. 5 x 12 = 60. That's £20 extra you're paying.

    And with the price going up to £6 (£72 for 12 months), I think you need to go back to school for both manners & maths.

    I always pay for a year, no point doing it any other way.
