As long as you are over 17 there's nothing to worry about really. It will naturally go up as you get older because your metabolism slows down.

I am 5'11 and around 8 stone in weight (so i'll say 8 for this, but may be over 9) so my BMI is 15.6 which is 'underweight'.

That is quite low. What is your diet like, do you get 2+ meals a day or do you just never really fancy eating?

I eat loads but never put weight on, i've cut down in recent times though (so i'd expect my weight to have fallen further) because I felt I was eating myself to the point where I was too full (as the Japanese do, they eat until they are 80% full and call it a day).
