Huge amount of furni lost.. anyone else?

I'm pretty sure when rooms are deleted the furniture that was placed in the room returns back into the inventory?

Nope. The furni is definitely not in my inventory, I'm afraid.

I thought that if you leave the furniture in the room that you delete, the furniture is deleted as well?
