They have had special lights sent down to them which supposedly mimick daylight so that the effect on them now won't be so bad. They had light from the vehicle's headlights too.

Pretty good information about the whole ordeal in the Times today. They put lines across the page to show the actual diameter of the capsule, with a map of the tunnels and where the different drills have gone. All along with info about the capsule itself - painted in the Chilean flag colours, oxygen mask, radio, belt to track heart rate, etc.

Capsule is also named Phoenix to represent the mythical bird that rose from the ashes. All pretty awesome imo. Obama seems to be saying something now.

I loved their spirit. Trapped under ground must be an awful experience but they laughed, they joked their way through it (didn't they ask for a blow up doll lolol). Glad to see they're getting out before the jokes wore thin.

Just 12 more miners + any medical staff or workers left to get out now.

They were arguing who would be last out just so that they could be put in the records book being the last out

It's one of those nice stories for the end of the news segment. Awww. I like stories like this. But they are miners so they're used to no daylight.
