'bout time the EMA was scrapped, it was a huge waste of money and the system was easy to abuse and unfair for large families just out of the threshold. Although a compromise could of been made to deal with large transport costs to school/college :/

It's hard to say what I think of the cuts to Education... In my area, it was being pointlessly chucked about to please people who do not exist. A few schools had new tennis courts costing £1.6 millions being installed, when the teachers do not use them or are not trained to use them. The Education System is a bit of a joke at the moment anyway, and needs sorting out. PE teachers should know what to do with a variety of sports and activities, yet they only really concentrate on football and cricket/rounders, rugby has disappeared and so has hockey for some reason :/

I agree that they should've made a plan for maybe free travel to your designated college/school if they're going to cut EMA, but at this point in time I really don't know how they're going to offer families and people like me "support".

Can you not see how you are all bribed with your own money by government?

Here's an original thought and one that works pretty well and eliminates the bureaucracy involved - don't take the money away from the taxpayer in the first place. The government takes money from you, and then you are all somehow given the impression that they are giving you money - in other words, they bribe you with your own money in return for votes come election time.
